Hi, I'm Emma

let me introduce myself!

Prior to graduating from New College Lanarkshire's BA Hons Acting with Creative Enterprise course in June 2022, I've had the fortune of training in the performing arts for a number of years. Starting with HNC Acting and Performance in 2017, I then moved to Paris to study Acting in English and Acting in French at Cours Florent, where I received the bulk of my training as an Actor and Physical Theatre Performer before the pandemic.

In the final year of my degree in NCL, I was part of the Groundwork Productions festival of new work, entitled 'Behind Close Doors' at Scottish Youth Theatre. My cohort was responsible for creating 14 pieces of new theatrical productions, presented in the form of an end of year festival, where I had a hand in 4 of these. Specialising in Performance (Acting, Singing, Physical Theatre) with 'Selkie' by Taylor Hall, 'Price of Happiness' by Georgia Blue Ireland, and 'Hands of Time' by Rachel Mae Hook and Fiona Radbourne. With Rebecca Innes, I acted as Co-Creator of 'Wee'Gie Cabaret', inspired by Glasgow's history of variety performance. You can view my song 'What's It Called' here.

I am currently on tour with M&M Theatrical Productions playing the Fairy Godmother and Nasty Sister in their adaption of 'Cinderella' for UK Schools. While having so much fun delivering this pantomime to kids around the country, when the opportunity arises I still try to train in Aerial Dance, as my aim is to become a strong performer and specialism in the

Otherwise, I work with Cumbernauld Theatre in Box Office, Administration and Front of House. They have provided me with valuable experience in creative facilitation, as I am the Lead Artist for the theatre's Youth Dance projects, Assistant Artist for Community Circus, iD Arts S1-S2, Youth Theatre under 12s, projects while working as a Personal Support Assistant within the 13-16 Youth Theatre group.
